Description

We are at the very beginning of creating an activity for clients to explore their musical ability and passions so this is completely new to us!

We're very pleased to have the opportunity to offer instruments and music production facilities to clients as a new activity!

The workshop is very flexible and we are open to ideas and suggestions from volunteers.

You will need :
• to have an interest in music production using IT programmes
• to give clients the opportunity to learn IT skills, create music and other sound effects
• the capacity to create online videos
• Enhanced DBS - Arc can assist with your application and fund it
• Ability to build rapport and adhere to professional boundaries
• Project planning skills will be required but you will be assisted by a member of Arc staff
• 2 hours a week commitment (flexible on days and times)

Organisation Description

Charitable organisation with 18 properties delivering the following services

• to house, assist, support and empower homeless people in Somerset

• to maximise their potential and promote independence

• to ensure that the most vulnerable in our community are able to sustain their homes.
On any one night TAH supports 285 people at risk across Somerset.

• 167 are in our accommodation

• 6 are with host families

• 112 are maintaining their own tenancies with support from our Community Team

(Arc was previously known as Taunton Association for the Homeless)

Requirements
